Liquid Medications and Potential Dosing Errors

When taking or administering oral medications it is important not to use kitchen spoons – as all spoons are not created equal. As recent study showed that mistakes are often made by choosing a tablespoon instead of a teaspoon. That simple mistake would to 3 times the intended dose. To make sure you get the accurate dose PharmaSue recommends that you use a reliable dosing measurement device, such as droppers, dosing spoons and/or dosing syringes when taking or administering liquid medications.
